Chef, Herve Tabourel and his Portuguese wife Paula, moved to Scotland 15 years ago from a small town in Brittany called Rennes and ran a very successful restaurant in Bruntsfield, Edinburgh called "Jaques" before moving to Perth in 2003.
The couple opened Perth’s very popular French restaurant ‘Café Tabou’, which has an amazing variety of traditional French dishes, and after 4 years decided to branch out with a second restaurant and a totally different concept in the Crêperie, Grill and wood burning oven pizzeria which has proven to be a huge success.
The restaurant has already become a favourite for private parties because of the very tasteful décor and friendly family atmosphere and bookings should be made early to avoid disappointment.
